This quaint outside heated pool is located at a residence in Carrollton, TX near Frankford & Josey Ln.

Our backyard environment allows for a small class with individualized attention for each student.

Class Dynamics & Overview

– Lessons are for ages 3 to adult

– 4/5 students per instructor

– All classes are Monday through Friday

– Lessons are 50 minutes long each day

– Parent Observation is only on the last day of class

– Please visit our class availability to see which week & time works for your family’s schedule

Ages 3-4

Introduction to Swimming
Beginner Lessons
  • Becoming comfortable in the water & alleviate any fear or anxiety around water
  • Enter and exit water safely using ladder, steps, or side
  • Submerge mouth, nose, and eyes
  • Blow Bubbles through mouth and nose
  • Open eyes underwater, pick up a submerged object held at arms length
  • Maintain front float position (face in or out of water)
  • Change direction of travel while walking or paddling
  • Basic water & safety skills
  • Introduce freestyle & backstroke to be able to propel themselves to the steps/side independently

Ages 5-7

Skills/Stroke Repetition & Technique
Intermediate Lessons
  • Previously completed a beginner’s class or have the basic foundational swim skills
  • Enter water by stepping or jumping from the side
  • Submerge entire head, bobs
  • Open eyes under water, pick up submerged object
  • Combined arm & leg actions while swimming on front & back
  • Front & Black gliding
  • Tread water for at least 30 seconds
  • Introduce elementary backstroke, sidestroke, breastroke, & butterfly

Ages 8-13

Stroke Refinement & Technique
Advanced Lessons
  • Previously completed beginners & intermediate classes
  • Refinement of all swimming strokes
  • Survival floating
  • Diving skills
  • Open turns & flip turns while swimming
  • Underwater swimming
  • Endurance skills
