Backyard Swim Lessons that Build Confidence

Welcome to Wrinkled Feet!

Proudly serving the communities of Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Lewisville, The Colony, Dallas, Flower Mound, & Frisco since 2004.

This quaint outside heated pool is located at a residence in Carrollton, TX near Frankford & Josey Ln.

Our backyard environment allows for a small class with individualized attention for each student.

Class Overview

  • Lessons are for ages 3 to adult

  • 4-5 Students Per Instructor

  • Classes are 5 days in a row M-F

  • Lessons are 50 minutes long each day

  • Parent Observation Day is the Last Day of Class!

Beginner Classes

Ages 3-5

 

Perfect for swimmers who are brand new to the water or still building comfort and confidence.

 

What we focus on:

 

  • Becoming comfortable in the water and easing fear or anxiety

  • Safe entering and exiting (ladder, steps, or pool edge)

  • Submerging mouth, nose, and eyes

  • Blowing bubbles through the mouth and nose

  • Opening eyes underwater and retrieving objects at arm’s length

  • Holding a front float (face in or out of the water)

  • Changing direction while walking or paddling

  • Basic water and safety skills

  • Introduction to freestyle and backstroke for independent movement to the steps or side

 

Goal: Build confidence, comfort, and strong foundational swimming skills.

Intermediate Classes

Ages 5-7

Designed for swimmers who have already completed a beginner class or confidently perform basic swim skills.

 

What we focus on:

 

  • Entering the water by stepping or jumping from the side

  • Full-head submersion and bobs

  • Opening eyes underwater and retrieving submerged objects

  • Combined arm and leg actions on both front and back

  • Front and back gliding

  • Treading water for at least 30 seconds

  • Introduction to elementary backstroke, sidestroke, breaststroke, and butterfly

 

Goal: Strengthen technique, improve endurance, and expand stroke knowledge.

Advanced Classes

Ages Vary

Best for swimmers who have completed both beginner and intermediate levels and are ready for refined technique and more challenging skills.

 

What we focus on:

 

  • Refinement and correction of all major swimming strokes

  • Survival floating techniques

  • Diving skills

  • Open turns and flip turns

  • Underwater swimming

  • Endurance building and stamina development

 

Goal: Increase efficiency, strength, and mastery of higher-level skills for confident, capable swimming.
